Yes, Canon came out with the 5D Mark II last summer and it has video capabilities. Many photojournalists are using it now since it cuts back on cost and helps with convenience. However, I don’t know much about video, but DSLR’s will not have the same quality as a professional video camera. The still camera and the video camera are just built differently. ..this is how it is for now at least.
